Spring Into 2009: Celebrating Success

• Toronto Program updates: We’re gearing up for another summer of fun and exceptional learning opportunities with our literacy day camps, planned for 120 of Toronto’s inner city children in three of the highest priority neighbourhoods of Toronto.

• Africa updates: Learn more about what’s happening further afield and the significant progress of our African investments and programs, including our hosting of Canadian volunteer teachers at the Get Ahead Project School. Getting teachers there is our greatest expense and maybe you can help. If you have an abundance of airmiles points to donate, please contact us right away!

• Leacock Leadership: The Leacock governance team is working hard on behalf of the membership for the greatest effectiveness and efficiency possible. Learn how we stretch your education donations to ensure maximum impact.

• Events for 2009: Mark the date for your favourite Leacock events in 2009-2010. Golfing, Debating and a Special Member event featuring tech guru Don Tapscott are in the works for 2009.
